Maddie Ashman

Maddie Ashman is a London-based composer, songwriter, and cellist whose music occupies a unique space between contemporary indie and microtonal sound exploration. She began playing guitar at the age of seven and took up the cello two years later. Today, her artistic practice is rooted in Just Intonation, exploring harmonic landscapes rarely heard in pop or jazz.

During the UK lockdown, her cello-led songs reached hundreds of thousands of listeners on Instagram. Her single 6AMwas selected as BBC 6 Music's Introducing Track of the Week. Ashman has performed at Latitude Festival, composed original music for the Slipshod Theatre Company, and regularly performs as a cellist with Tom Rosenthal.

With her intimate solo performances, distinctive voice, and refined songwriting, Maddie Ashman has established herself as one of the most compelling emerging voices in the UK singer-songwriter scene.

Gonzalo Rubalcaba Quartet

feat Chris Potter, Larry Grenadier & Eric Harland

This is far more than a quartet, each member is a world-class artist in their own right. Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Chris Potter, Larry Grenadier, and Eric Harland are among the defining voices of modern jazz. Under the project title First Meeting, these four extraordinary musicians come together for the first time in this formation, each contributing original compositions and arrangements.

The result is a concert of rare intensity: virtuosic, adventurous, explosive, and driven by four artists who have spent decades performing on the world's most prestigious stages.

Gonzalo Rubalcaba is widely regarded as one of the great pianists of our time. The Grammy Award-winning Cuban pianist has, since the 1990s, embodied a unique synthesis of Afro-Cuban tradition, contemporary jazz language, and exceptional pianistic mastery. Chris Potter is considered one of the most influential saxophonists of his generation, having collaborated with artists including Dave Holland, Pat Metheny, Paul Motian, and Steely Dan. Bassist Larry Grenadier shaped the acclaimed Brad Mehldau Trio for many years and has also performed with Pat Metheny and Charles Lloyd. Drummer Eric Harland is among the most sought-after musicians in contemporary jazz, appearing on hundreds of recordings and collaborating with many of the genre's leading artists.

First Meeting is an all-star project in the truest sense, not a band with a leader and accompanists, but four equal musical voices at the highest level. When Rubalcaba's harmonic imagination, Potter's commanding saxophone sound, Grenadier's deeply grounded bass, and Harland's dynamic rhythmic language converge, the result is contemporary jazz at its most inspired and compelling.

A must-see performance for anyone who wants to experience what a true jazz supergroup sounds like.

Tigran Hamasyan - Manifeste

quartett

Few pianists have expanded the language of modern jazz as profoundly as Tigran Hamasyan. The acclaimed Armenian musician seamlessly fuses intricate rhythmic structures, jazz improvisation, progressive rock, electronic soundscapes, and the musical traditions of his homeland into a singular and unmistakable artistic voice.

Hamasyan first gained international recognition by winning prestigious competitions such as the Montreux Jazz Festival Piano Competition and the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition. Today, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential pianists of his generation.

With landmark projects including Mockroot, The Call Within, and The Bird of a Thousand Voices, Hamasyan has developed a distinctive musical language that balances spiritual depth, rhythmic complexity, and cinematic power. His work has earned the admiration of artists such as Herbie Hancock, Brad Mehldau, and Chick Corea.

He now presents his latest project, Manifeste, released in 2026 on Naïve Records. Blending Armenian folk traditions, choral music, progressive rock, electronic production, and contemporary jazz, the album creates a monumental sonic landscape and stands among the most ambitious works of his career. Performed with his quintet, Manifeste unfolds with extraordinary intensity, transcending conventional genre boundaries and reaffirming Hamasyan as one of the most visionary voices in contemporary music.
