About the event
FRAMED #91 Shaping Sounds is an interdisciplinary project bringing together extraordinary Berlin-based artists: British saxophonist and composer Emma Rawicz; double bassist Haggai Cohen-Milo; drummer Amir Bresler; and Swedish sculptor Ricard Larsson. It will premiere on 18 April 2026 at the Uferhallen in Larsson’s studio, a space that resembles a living sculpture in itself. The high ceiling lets in plenty of light, which falls on a large quantity of black wax. This creates a special atmosphere in which art and music merge uniquely. The musicality of Larsson’s working method, its open and improvised nature, and the ‘sonic presence’ of his sculptures form the basis of this interdisciplinary project. At the same time, the project addresses the suffering and destruction that humanity is capable of inflicting on an unprecedented scale through its technology.
