MUSIC – Jimi Prasad Orchestra featuring Avishai Cohen (trumpet) & Rejoicer
Jimi Prasad Orchestra is the next stage in the evolution of visionary artist Jimi Prasad. The Orchestra is a unique project, blending mixed art disciplines, featuring top musicians from around the world, including trumpet player Avishai Cohen, keyboardist/producer Rejoicer, cellist Esther Patricia Valladares Amador and more. The debut album is due to be released in July 7, 2023 on Raw Tapes Records.
‘Down & Up (Unending Love)’ is the debut single by Jimi Prasad Orchestra and the introductory tune for this phenomenal project. Dramatic, cinematic and full of imagination. The combination of close & intimate sound with the unusual melodic use of classic instruments – flutes, cellos, voice and trumpets – creates a glitch in the system; something we haven’t heard before. No rhythm section, no obvious verse-chorus form; but an open, pure and thus utterly original expression through music.
ART EXHIBITION – Carmen Ilan
Carmel Ilan’s work is based on a method of work constructed of numerous folded papers erecting from a wooden plate. Her latest development is an interpretation of her original technique, as she currently chooses to exhibit only the photographic representation of her sculptural objects.
