Über die Veranstaltung

MUSIC – Tamar Halperin & Guy Sternberg / Tamuz Dekel

Bach, Cage, and Satie like you’ve never heard before. Tamar Halperin, a virtuoso and innovator on the piano and the harpsichord, plays some of the newest and oldest repertoire ever written for keyboard. Together with Guy Sternberg on analog & modular synthesizers, they create a world which is both familiar and completely fresh, painting those classics with new vivid colours. They will be playing pieces from their forthcoming album “Paper Bricks”, coming out in April 2025.

In his solo guitar performances, Tamuz Dekel of Tatran takes the listener on a journey through different realms of exploration. Vivid stories and imaginative atmospheres, moving between lullaby-like gentleness and epic drama. The show is boundless and full of freedom. The music comes from the heart and enters the heart, evoking deep listening and effortless surrender.

ART EXHIBITION – Anna Nezhnaya

Anna Nezhnaya's installation at the Emmaus Church in Kreuzberg presents a selection of recent neon works. The exhibition title is "Light Love".

In these ingenious objects, mythology, freehand doodles, female archetypes, tattoos, and emojis are transformed into wicked, humorous figures of neon light.

Anna Nezhnaya (Israeli, born in Moscow, 198x) has been living and working in Berlin since 2017.) Trained as a graphic artist at the Moscow State University of Printing and Graphics and with an MA from the University of Greifswald, Anna explores traditional imagery in contemporary settings.
