MUSIC – New Pieces for String Quartet and Electronics by Avshalom Caspi
Avshalom Caspi (Berlin/London) is an award-winning composer whose music has been used on many platforms, including film, TV, theatre, and art-performance.
His compositions explore nature’s patterns, the combination of poetry and music, and the merging of acoustic and electronic sound.
In this concert, he is excited to share some of his latest works for piano, string quartet, and electronics.
ART EXHIBITION – Mathilde Bonbon
Mathilde Bonbon is a French artist born in 1967 in Paris. After graduating from EESAB, Brest (Ecole Européenne Supérieure d’Art de Bretagne) and ESAA Duperré, Paris (Ecole Supérieure d’Arts Appliqués), she was a textile designer (Baccarat, Lancel). She settled as an independent artist in 2006, while publishing Revoir El Kef (MC Editions, Tunis).
She exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in France: Art’Metz, Salon de Chartres (1st prize mixed media), Art’Metz, Salon d’Art Abordable in Paris, Galerie Myriam H in Paris, Chapelle St Léonard in Grigny, Salon de l’Amour in Tours…, and in Switzerland at Europ’Art in Genève.
She realized public and private commissions (Effia, Mairie de Paris, Mairie de Clichy, AXA, Mayer Brown & Rowe, L’Oréal). In 2010, she was a founding member and associated artist of the cooperative Artcoop, etc. In 2012, she left Paris and settled in Berlin, where she lives and works. She took part in 48 Stunden Neukölln (2012 / 2014), and at the end of 2014, she presented Passages et Traces, her first individual exhibition in Berlin.
